A friend was looking at older Jeeps a few years back. I told them to make sure it had ABS. Her husband was confused as to why I wanted to make the Wrangler had abs. People have abs, not cars she said.

The children under your “care” don’t appreciate them as much.

Haha! Now I need one on my Saturn. It doesn’t have anti-lock brakes.

Technical detail badges are nice.

Was behind a Caprice briefly yesterday - its ABS badge is as big as the “Caprice” badge and in the same text. Would not be surprised if one or two people thought it was the model.

I’ve heard that the European 90s-era 626 had an ‘air conditioning’ badge.

What’s the first badge from?

It’s from a fuel injected 1958 Desoto. Five were made and one still exists with a working fuel injection setup. They made rather fancy looking emblem for five cars...

I haven’t spotted those, but it sounds very possible. Air conditioning was very rare equipment here until late 90's. You had to be lucky to own one.
I tried to find a Toyota badge stating proudly “power steering”, but I couldn’t find one mounted on a car. Hiace vans also had these.

I’m going to have to talk to my grandfather about that. His dad owned a Desoto dealer for a long time. I doubt he’s ever seen one, but I bet he knows plenty about them.

Please tell us what you’ll learn.
Here’s a story about the sole surviving fuel injected Desoto. Even this one was converter to carburetors due problems with the fuel injection, but during the restoration a nearly complete set was found.
